Here are some important tips for using Essential Oils with your cats aromatically, topically, and internally. AROMATICALLY • Water-based diffuser, especially one with an alternate on/off setting. • Spray into the air. • Direct inhalation. • On cloth, cotton ball, or bedding. TOPICALLY • ALWAYS DILUTE. • Direct application upon spine. • Massage/petting. • Reflexology points. • Ear tipping. • Direct area of interest. • In shampoo. • Roller bottle or spray. Better tolerated if applied to hands first. • Litter box. LITTER BOX POWDER RECIPE • 1 c. Diatomaceous Earth or Baking Soda • 3–4 drops Lavender Essential Oil Mix ingredients and let sit overnight (at least four hours). Sprinkle over litter. You do not have to use the full cup, just enough to cover the litter. INTERNAL USE • Generally, internal use is not indicated for cats. • You can start with a toothpick of diluted oil with wet food. • Do not put oils in water bowls for cats. They may not drink the water if you do. QUESTION – WHICH APPLICATION WILL YOU TRY WITH YOUR CAT FIRST?
